Green Builders starts ‘green remodeling’ services

Green Builders Inc., a developer of sustainable home communities, will expand its services to include “green remodeling,” designed to help Central Texas homeowners reduce energy costs and boost efficiency.

Austin-based Green Builders (AMEX: GBH) says the new services will meet a market demand for green retrofit solutions. Services will include energy audits and customized energy and cost-savings action plans.

“Each day that energy prices and consumption continue to rise, your current home is becoming more expensive to operate and maintain,” says President and CEO Clark Wilson. “Now we are able to offer [customers] a long-term energy savings solution for their existing home that will pay for itself in the short term.”
