Regions names new head of credit cards, payment division

Regions Financial Corp. has named a new leader for its credit cards and payments division.
Tom Brooks will serve as the executive vice president in charge of the division, which handles credit and debit cards, as well as merchant relationships. Brooks will work with a team to grow the division, Regions said in a news release.
Brooks has 15 years of experience within the financial services industry, holding positions at Next Jump Inc., MBNA and Bank of America.
