Haemonetics has new marketing chief

Haemonetics Corp. said Wednesday that Peter Allen has been appointed to the newly created position of chief marketing officer.

Braintree, Mass.-based Haemonetics (NYSE: HAE), a developer of blood processing technology, said Allen will be responsible for global marketing of Haemonetics' full product portfolio in addition to his current responsibilities as president, donor division.

Allen joined Haemonetics in 2003.
