Bank of America touts lending

Boston Business Journal - by Tim McLaughlin

Battling a perception that banks are being tight with their money, Bank of America Corp. took out a two-page advertisement Monday touting its lending during hard times, including at three Massachusetts companies.

The ad in the Wall Street Journal said the bank provided $16.04 million in mortgage financing to Suffolk Construction Companies; a $12 million construction loan and $8.9 million in permanent financing to Boston’s School House Urban Landworks LLC; and a $5.03 million line of credit to Shaw Glass Company Inc. in South Easton, Massachusetts.
