Report: Paramount fires top executives

Viacom Inc.'s Paramount Pictures has has fired Paramount Film Group President John Lesher and Production President Brad Weston, according to a report from Reuters.
The report said that Lesher would be replaced by former head of production for DreamWorks, Adam Goodman.
No reason was given for their ousting, the report said.
Paramount has the top grossing movie of the summer thus far in "Star Trek," which has brought in an estimated $239.4 million, according to the Web site Box Office Mojo.
The studio is likely to have a good weekend with the premiere of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."
