The Mixx will open in KC Power & Light District in April

The Mixx will open a second Kansas City-area location in April in the Kansas City Power & Light District, owner Jo Marie Scaglia said Monday. The restaurant’s menu is dominated by salads, but also includes soups and sandwiches.
“The Mixx is needed in the Power & Light District,” Scaglia said. “Upscale, quick, casual and healthy will thrive in that area.”
The new location will have 25 to 30 full- and part-time employees, she said, roughly the same as at its current location at 4855 Main St.
