Kaiser Permanente Hawaii debuts mobile health vehicle

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii is unveiling its mobile health vehicle Thursday.
The first-of-its-kind, 45-foot long, 10-wheel vehicle will be used on the Big Island to help patients by providing “traveling” services.
Kaiser describes the vehicle as the nation’s most technologically advanced medical vehicle, offering mammography and general health screenings, access to patients’ electronic health records and telemedicine capabilities.
The Mobile Health Vehicle is scheduled to begin service on the Big Island the third week of July.
