Glu Mobile, Activision launch new games

Glu Mobile Inc. on Wednesday announced four new titles as part of an expanded partnership with Activision Publishing Inc.

San Mateo-based Glu (NASDAQ:GLUU) said Crash Mutant Island will be available in the third quarter and Blur, Guitar Hero 5 and Tony Hawk: RIDE will be available in the fourth quarter.

The titles will be published worldwide for carriers and application stores that support Android, Blackberry, BREW, J2ME and Windows Mobile.

The company also announced plans to release a Modern Warfare 2 mobile game through its Activision expanded agreement.

Game developer Activision (NASDAQ:ACTVI) is based in Santa Monica.
