Massey out as Fios CEO

Gerald Massey is no longer CEO at Fios Inc., according to a technology blog.
The Law Technology News blog, “ The Common Scold,” reports that former CFO John Hesse is now listed on the Fios Web site as interim CEO. Massey remains on the board of directors.
The blog also reports that several high-level executives were let go earlier this month. The blog quotes Fios spokeswoman Debbie Caldwell as saying that Massey initiated the succession plan, and it has been in the works since last fall.
Portland-based Fios offers electronic discovery services. The privately held company doesn't disclose revenue, but had 160 employees as of last August. The company had raised $17.6 million in capital as of 2006.
