Graybar names Propst to board

St. Louis Business Journal

Graybar Electric Co. Inc. announced Wednesday that Beverly Propst, who this month was named senior vice president of human resources for the electrical products distributor, was elected to its board of directors, and that all of the company’s incumbent directors were re-elected.

Employee-owned Graybar held its shareholders meeting June 11, where the number of directors was increased to 14 to include Propst.

Propst joined Graybar in 2002 as corporate counsel, and was named senior corporate counsel in 2003 and vice president of human resources in April last year.

Prior to joining Graybar, she was a senior associate with St. Louis-based law firm Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt.

St. Louis-based Graybar, led by Chairman, president and CEO Bob Reynolds, distributes equipment and products for the electrical, telecommunications and networking industries. It is one of the largest privately held companies in St. Louis.
