Cathy Stone is the new CDO at the Children’s Home

Gerard Veneman, president and chief executive officer of the Children’s Home Inc., appointed Cathy Stone chief development officer.
Stone’s nonprofit experience in the Tampa Bay area dates back to 1991 and includes positions at the Spring of Tampa Bay Inc. and Metropolitan Ministries, a release said. Stone also has worked in the corporate banking and residential property management industries.
A nonprofit founded in 1892, the Children’s Home bills itself the oldest charity on the west coast of Florida. Through programs based in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, the Tampa-based organization has assisted more than 25,000 children. Its annual budget is about $12 million.
